Temporary, Alternating Road Closures Coming To SR 32 In Crawfordsville

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that temporary, alternating lane closures are expected to begin on State Road 32 in Crawfordsville at the beginning of April.

Travelers in the North Central Indiana region are asked to remain patient and vigilant when traveling on State Road 32 in Crawfordsville between Englewood Drive and County Road 550 East starting on or after April 1 as temporary, alternating road closures will be implemented in the area.

During the timeframe, crews will be paving, patching and installing ADA ramps and pedestrian signals at State Road 32 and Englewood Drive, and flaggers will be present to help direct traffic.

The construction is anticipated to take place during daytime hours only, except for Monday April 8 as a result of the solar eclipse, which will cause no closures to be in effect during the day.

The Indiana Department of Transportation released a statement to encourage drivers to maintain reduced speeds through the area, buckle up for their safety and refrain from using phones while driving.
