Tennis E. “Teddy” Dean, 63, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born July 3, 1957, in Logan, West Virginia to Charles E. and Alma (Trent) Dean.
Teddy worked for General Battery for 17 years and retired from Wabash National in early 2000. He enjoyed fishing, camping, car shows and derby cars.
Teddy is survived by his companion of 40 years, Sandy Gibson; Sandy’s sons, Chad and Jeff; brothers, Chuck (Janie) Dean, Dana (Shirley) Dean: sisters, Linda Mullins, Connie Pennington, Pam Armetta, Katherine Buchanan, Charlotte (Dave) Lashbrook and Rita Dean.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Alice Lawson, Mary Lutz, and Jackie Dean.
Visitation will be held, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 11am until the time of the service at 2pm at Genda Funeral Home-Frankfort. Burial will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery. In adherence to the current CDC guidelines, it is requested that guests follow the appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks. Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is entrusted with the arrangements.
