Texas Man Arrested for Battery With Deadly Weapon

Lebanon Police Department responded to the 200 block of Cox Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers were dispatched to a fight with stabbing in progress. Upon arrival Officers stopped two men from fighting outside the establishment. The males were identified as 41-year-old male Jason Walker of Lebanon, and 35-year-old male Wade Boyer of Texas.

Officers immediately noticed Walker was bleeding from his left arm. Walker stated he was stabbed by Boyer. Witnesses stated the altercation began when Boyer refused to leave the establishment when requested by staff. After being stabbed Walker held onto Boyer until police arrived on scene.

Walker was transported to a local hospital and Boyer was transported to Boone County Jail on charges of Battery with a deadly weapon, Battery, Resisting Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Intoxication.
