The City of Frankfort has officially set trick-or-treat hours for Halloween, Thursday, October 31, 2024. Children and families are invited to participate from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable evening, residents are encouraged to turn on their porch lights if they plan to distribute candy. Trick-or-treaters should always choose well-lit paths and only visit homes with porch lights on.
Motorists are reminded to drive with caution, especially in areas where trick-or-treaters may be present.
Downtown Halloween Fun
Frankfort Main Street will once again host its annual Trick-or-Treating on the Square event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Families can enjoy the festive atmosphere and participate in the Kid’s Costume Contest at Veterans Park, beginning at 6:00 PM.
For an extra dose of Halloween excitement, head to the Frankfort Unified Neighborhood (FUN) Scare on the Square, located on South Main Street. This event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., featuring a Trunk or Treat Contest starting at 6:30 p.m.
