The Frankfort Market is gearing up for the 2025 outdoor market series, and Organizer MaryLynn Peter is seeking to recruit some Old Coots to give advice, regardless of whether the advice is good or bad.
Those with a sense of humor and enjoy sitting around and conversing with others are invited to join the Old Coot crew this summer. No registration is required to be an Old Coot, and those sat at the Old Coot tent act as the hub of information for those at the market.
“This is a great time to just sit and enjoy and have great conversations,” Peter said. “No minimum age to qualify.”
The Old Coot table will be set up with the market vendors every second and fourth Saturday during the summer, excluding July where only one market will occur, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Veterans Park in Frankfort.
No set-up fee is required for vendors, but vendors should bring their own tables and chairs for the event. Vendors may begin setting up at 8 a.m.
