According to the Times article, “news will continue to be delivered online as it is currently being provided with a weekly e-edition and a special weekend e-edition.”

The reason for the change included a reference in the article to “keep moving forward with changes that are a result of the digital age as many readers are continuing to move to that medium but will also give those that love the feel and smell of a newspaper the opportunity to still hold the news in their hands.”

The Wednesday print edition will contain the usual currently published sections and online stories will be posted daily.
