Thomas Dean Werner, 89, of Lafayette, passed away February 19, 2026 at Waterford Gardens, Mission, TX. He was born December 18, 1936 in Smithson, IN to William Carl & Stella (Culp) Werner. He married longtime Clinton County resident, Nancy Lou Moore on June 4, 1960 in Jefferson, IN and she survives.
Tom attended Jefferson High School. He had worked at Alcoa in Lafayette for 30 years. Tom was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Lafayette, IN.
Tom is survived by his wife, Nancy of Mission, TX, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Grayce Moore of Frankfort and sister-in-law Marilyn Moore of Frankfort.
