Three Arrested Following Armed Robbery in Whitestown

On Saturday, Whitestown Metropolitan Police Officers were made aware of a possible armed robbery that occurred at a truck stop in Whitestown.

Boone County Dispatch informed us that the Indiana State Police District 52 received a 911 call by the victim reporting an armed robbery occurred, and ISP Troopers were searching the interstate for a suspect vehicle. After collecting further information on the incident, law enforcement determined the armed robbery occurred inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the TA Travel Center.

A vehicle matching the description given by the victim was soon located near the air station at the TA Travel Center. WMPD, ISP, Boone County Sheriff’s Office, and Zionsville PD arrived at the TA, and detained the occupants of the vehicle. After interviewing the victim and
potential suspects, and following a thorough investigation, all three of the suspects were arrested and are currently incarcerated in the Boone County Jail pending charges.

The suspects were identified as Tori Twyman (20), Larry Stewart (19), and Xavier Arnold (20) all of Indianapolis.
Twyman is pending charges of Armed Robbery, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Stewart is pending charges of Armed Robbery, Intimidation With a Deadly Weapon, and Carrying a Handgun Without a License. Arnold is pending charges of Armed Robbery – Assisting a Criminal.
