Three Frankfort Runners Post Fastest Times in School History

Frankfort High School senior Hugo Hernandez ran the 10th fastest time in school history Saturday at the Harrison Invitational in Lafayette. He finished in a time of 16 minutes, 31 seconds to place 15th overall.

Girls’ Cross Country

Frankfort High School sophomore Carina Alanis ran the seventh-fastest time in school history at the Harrison Invitational on Saturday. She finished in a time of 21:11 and placed 67th overall. Sophomore Payton Dubree ran the 19th best time in school history with a time of 22:38.

Team Winner — Zionsville 28 (Frankfort was 22nd at 638 and Rossville had no team score.

Individual Winner — Karina James (Lowell) 18:07.

Clinton Prairie Volleyball

Seeger won both the varsity and junior varsity tournaments at the Clinton Prairie Invitational on Saturday.

In varsity play, Prairie went 2-1 on the day to improve their record to 5-7. The Gophers defeated Sheridan 27-25, 25-15 and Lafayette Jefferson 20-25, 28-26, 25-13 and lost to Seeger 25-11, 25-20.
