A three generation love story will be written this spring. 93 year old and Wesley Manor Resident Marty Brallier opened a letter from her grand daughter. Since she was not able to read the letter because of macular degeneration, it was read to her:
“My Dearest,
Grandma, we have not only dreamt, but prayed for, this day MANY years. One constant in this dream has always been you. I have been so fortunate to have the most special relationship with you. As my Grandmother, and one of my best friends, I am so honored to ask you to be one of my bridesmaids. Long before I brought Cade to meet you, I knew he would be THE ONE, but he knew he needed to have your approval first. Seeing how much he loved you, and you loved him, made my heart jump over the moon. Growing up with the most unbelievable example of marriage from you and Grandpa Cal, helped me find a man that fulfilled all the standards of a gentleman with a heart for God. I hope to be as committed, loving, and God focused as you were as a wife. I hope Cade will help lead our family towards God, humbly love me, and care for me as I saw Grandpa do as your husband. Your presence in my life is truly unexplainable. We have so many great days together, but we will be able to add another one to the pile of memories very soon. I love you more than I could ever write in this little card.
Your Laura Lee.”
