Investigation Yields Three Arrests for Dealing Drugs

This house at 650 Elmwood Drive is where three individuals were arrested for dealing drugs Wednesday morning.

Frankfort Police put a huge dent in the local drug trafficking Wednesday morning with the arrest of three individuals, all from Frankfort, from a residence at 650 Elmwood Drive in Frankfort.

“This house has been a target of ours during this investigation,” said Frankfort Police Chief Scott Shoemaker. “Really, we’ve been here multiple times in the last few months. Everyday we get complaints from the public. From the all of the tips we’ve received, we realized a lot of drugs in Frankfort comes from this house.”

Arrested were 30-year-old Nicholas Ruiz, 57-year-old Etta Miller, and 32-year-old Stephanie Creasy. Shoemaker called Ruiz “a big-time drug dealer here in our community. He’s been arrested multiple times.”

Ruiz was arrested for Dealing a Narcotic (Heroin), Dealing a Narcotic (Fentanyl), Possession of Narcotic Drug, Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

Miller was arrested for Dealing a Narcotic Drug (Fentanyl), Possession of a Narcotic Drug and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, while Creasy was arrested for Dealing a Narcotic (Heroin), Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

Shoemaker said all were arrested from the house Wednesday morning after the Frankfort Police Department Narcotics and Patrol Divisions along with the Clinton County/Frankfort Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team executed a search warrant.

“If you were buying drugs from this house, it’s closed now,” said Shoemaker. “We’re looking for the next house dealing drugs. Overdoses have increased here (in Frankfort) recently. And, not just overdoses, but deaths have occurred from this. We are definitely coming after the people who are dealing this dangerous drug.”

All three were transported to the Clinton County Jail where they are awaiting formal charges from the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.
