Three-Point Shooting Leads Frankfort Past Rossville

Jordan Frazier and Jessie Ramos scored 11 points apiece to lead Frankfort to a 54-51 non-conference girls’ basketball victory over Rossville Tuesday night.

The Hot Dogs were able to comeback from an early deficit thanks to some three-point shooting as they were 11 of 21 from long range.

Madison Miller led Rossville with a game-high 18 points. Emma Lawson added 11 points and eight rebounds, while Kennedy Houser had eight points and eight rebounds.

Frankfort also won the JV contest as freshman Vanessa Guardado scored 24 points to lead the way.

Clinton Central Downs Eastern

Kendall Davison had 16 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and four steals as Clinton Central defeated Eastern 54-26 Saturday in Michigantown.

Sam Adams had 14 points and six boards for Central. Allison Robbins added 11 points, six rebounds and four steals. Sara Parkison had 12 rebounds.

Clinton Central Swimming

Both the Clinton Central boys’ and girls’ swimming team picked up victories on Monday night.

The boys defeated Elwood 135-24. Espen McCarty led the way with four personal bests. Colton Payne, Cain Martin and Owen Smith each had three personal bests, Blake Mosbaugh, Casey Meagher, Wreese Sheets and Owen Kocher all had two personal bests, while Conner Tarkington, John Dunn, Austin Orem, Erik McCarty and Ashton Albaugh had one personal best each.

The girls defeated Elwood 147-26. Macie McQuinn and Kailie Burnette lead the team with three personal best. Carly Ellison, Raelyn Albaugh and Reagan Kimmell each had two personal bests, while Elayna Faulkner, Avery Harris, Addison Bogard, Averi Gilmore, Kylie Gilmore, Isabelle Hendrickson and Grace Atkisson each had one personal best.

Frankfort Wrestlers Lose to Western

Frankfort fell to Western 54-18 on Tuesday night. Winners for the Hot Dogs were Elijah Anthony, Jimmy Ostler, Juan Campos and Brenton Wood.
