Three-Point Shooting Leads Hot Dogs Over Liberty Christian

Frankfort knocked down 18 three-pointers on its way to an 89-81 non-conference boys’ basketball victory over Liberty Christian Saturday night at Case Arena.

Frankfort had a 44-29 lead at halftime before Liberty Christian caught fire and tied the game on several occasions. However, Frankfort was able to hold on and get the victory.

Riley Goodnight scored a career-high 31 points on 12 of 15 shooting. Jade Ayers had 19 points and Deacon Spencer added 15.

FHS improved to 9-9 overall heading into tonight’s non-conference contest at home against Westfield. The Dogs also have another non-conference game on Friday night at home against Delphi before playing Tri-West in the first game of the sectional Tuesday night at Case Arena.

Frankfort also won the JV contest 60-57. Kye Kirby led the Hot Dogs, 10-6, with 19 points. Doug Wood was next with 11 and Eli Oldham added 10.
