Thursday Thunder in downtown Frankfort returns on Thursday, May 16, with a wide variety of events, including a Cruise-In Car Show, a Summer Concert and a new event called Putter Around Downtown. Thursday Thunder is held the first and third Thursday in downtown Frankfort from 5:30-8 p.m.
The Cruise-In Car Show will be held May 16, June 6 and 20, July 18, August 1 and 15 along with September 5 and 19.
The Summer Concert Series schedule is as follows: May 16 — Gem City Band; June 20 — Hunter Wainscott; July 18 — Isaac Rudd; August 15 — The Jacks; and September 19 — The Faith Band. All concerts are held 6-8 p.m. in Veterans Park.
Putter Around Downtown is a new event that will be held May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15 and September 19. This is a Putt Putt Golf event featuring 18 plus unique holes each designed by local businesses or organizations. Holes are located inside or in front of each participating business. Participants need to check in at registration table for scorecard and map. You should look for Frankfort Main Street Flag. The cost is free to participants.
In addition, a Farmer’s Market will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. in Veterans Park starting May 16 and be held the first and third Thursday of each month.
