It is the end of January and it’s time for Joe Root to order paver bricks again for the Clinton County Veterans Memorial on the Square in downtown Frankfort.
It usually takes Root about a month to a month and a half to get back from the place where he orders them from. If anyone is still wanting a paver to be installed in the memorial this year before Memorial Day they need to contact Root at his office.
The cost of the pavers is $100 and Root only order once year. That is the way that the Memorial is funded through the sale of paver bricks sales and donations. Root added he receives no county money, state money or federal money for the Memorial operation and maintenance.
