The Boone County Solid Waste Management District announced the upcoming free tire collection event for the Town of Advance where Boone County residents will be invited to dispose of their tires in an approved manner.
The Town of Advance is hosting its free tire collection on Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 103 S. Main St. in Advance for all Boone County residents to attend. The town stated that no business waste will be accepted, and if the tire trailer is filled before the 4 p.m. cutoff time, the event will end early.
“Please begin making plans now to properly dispose of any tires you have at your residence,” the District released.
