Town Of Mulberry Releases Information Amidst Continuing Loose Dog Issues

The Town of Mulberry released information regarding the proper steps to report loose dogs as the issue of loose dogs appears to be continuing for the town.

The Town stated that a law enforcement officer must physically see the loose dog to address the situation, and those reporting the dogs are encouraged to take pictures or videos to show the officer as well. Previous photos or videos may be utilized to determined whether the owner receives a monetary fine for the first officer response.

Those experiencing issues with loose dogs have been instructed to contact the Mulberry Police Department at 765-296-2440 first and leave a voicemail if the department does not answer. In the case that an officer does not answer, reports may be filed to Clinton County Central Dispatch at 765-659-5563.

The two departments will help the report reach animal control to aid with the situation.
