At approximately 1:54 p.m. Saturday, Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputy Jon Greiner stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on State Road 26, near County Road 200 East. After observing the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle, Deputy Greiner searched the vehicle and located vape pods of THC and approximately 17 grams of cocaine. Deputy Dennis Tillman assisted at the scene.

“This is a great example of what can yield from a “simple traffic stop,” Sheriff Kelly is pleased with the proactive approach Deputies are taking to enforce traffic laws in high crash zone areas and their vigilance in observing criminal activity when present.
