Clinton County EMA has issued a Travel Advisory for Clinton County due to flooding throughout the County effective immediately. We have multiple roads closed throughout the County due to localized flooding.
A travel advisory is the lowest level advisory, means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
Clinton County Daily News has received several road closures due to high water reports from Clinton County Central Dispatch. Please avoid these areas.
State Rd 26, West of State Rd 29 to the Clinton/Howard County Line is under high water and impassable in spots, please proceed with caution and do no attempt to drive through. INDOT is in the process of putting out high water signs.
County Road 750 S is closed between County Road 400 E and 480 E due to high water.
Co Rd 0 EW is closed between Co Rd 800 N and St Rd 26 AND Co Rd 800 N is closed between Co Rd 100 E and Co Rd 200 E.
Co Rd 400 E between Co Rd 750 S and Co Rd 730 S will be closed due to high water.
Co Rd 550 S between 100 E and 200 E is closed due to high water.
