The Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office is warning citizens of Tippecanoe County of a phone scam involving two Kirklin Indiana phone numbers.
In one instance, a request was made for $3,500 to be sent through Venmo for missing jury duty.
The two Kirklin numbers associated with this scam, according to a press release from the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office are:

(765 204-2747. (shows call from Kirklin, IN)
The other phone number associated with this impersonation scam is a Connersville, Indiana number: (765 222-4170).
Impersonators may also request someone go to a store and purchase gift cards and read the numbers on the back of the gift card to them.
The Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department does not contact citizens by telephone and request payment for warrants, writs, missed court dates or jury duty.
