Two local community members were honored with the “Andi” Volunteer of the Year Award during the annual public meeting of the Board of Directors of the On-Stage Foundation in the Frankfort Community Public Library Skanta Theatre on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
During the meeting, President Mike Bruton presented the volunteer awards, which were formed in recognition of Barnstormer and Landscaper Andi Slipher, to two volunteers for their work during the Red Barn Summer Theatre season this year.
Bruton presented the awards to Lisa Sheets for managing The Cellar and starting a new merchandise booth and Ellen Osborne for volunteering on the Advertising Committee as well as creating the entire program this year.
As well, during the meeting, a vote was tallied for all of the officers, which were retained, including President Mike Bruton, Vice-President Carol Bartley, Treasurer Bill Miller and Secretary Dena Seifert.
