The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure that will impact U.S. 421 in Frankfort.
Beginning on or after Monday, November 2, Norfolk Southern railroad crews will close U.S. 421 at the crossing located between Morrison Street and Washington Street for upgrades. Work is anticipated to last for up to one week but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
The official detour around the closure follows U.S. 421 to State Road 29 to S.R. 26 back to U.S. 421. INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution while traveling around work zones.
