The United Way of Clinton County announced their campaign total for 2017. United Way Executive Director Carolina Booth announced the results on Monday’s Partyline program.
Booth said this year’s campaign fell short of its goal of $500,000. However, they were quite happy with the total of $441,415.70 which was 88.3 percent.
This year’s campaign also brought in 188 new donors who gave the organization over $52,000. Booth said these funds came from people who were never asked to donate in the past.
Also, a total of 30 Leadership Givers donated a total of $30,000. These are individuals who donate $1,000 or more.
Farmers Bank CEO and President Karen Gregerson was the chair person of this year’s campaign.
