United Way First Online Silent Auction Viewing Will Be Held Sunday Afternoon

United Way has released information about its First Annual Silent Auction.

We have a viewing of all the items on Sunday, October 1 from 1-3 p.m. at Healthy Communities located at 1234 Rossville Avenue if anyone would like to see the items in person.  A picture of all the items are on-line as well.  Everyone when logging into the link will want to make sure they are clicking on the auction button at the top of the page.

We are so blessed and excited that so many people and companies have donated for the On-Line Silent Auction.  Our goal was to have 50 items to put up for auction.  Instead we have had so many items donated that we actually have 59 themed baskets to bid on.

We have a signed basketball from Purdue Coach Matt Painter, Authentic Autographed Photos by Mario Andretti, Colton Herta, Kyle Larson, Helio Castroneves, Date Night Packages, Kid Packets, Baseball Fun, Thanksgiving Meals, Spa Treatments, etc.

If you are starting to think about Christmas, we have some great options in the auction for some really nice Christmas gifts.  Kori Faulkner, Marketing Director at United Way has worked endlessly on getting items donated.  We have a few local items but the goal was to not interfere with our local businesses as we are also in our full swing of our annual campaign.  The donated dollars for this auction is $6,040.  Our goal was to raise $3,000 on the Silent Auction.
