United Way for Clinton County Collecting School Supplies for Backpack Giveaway

United Way for Clinton County is calling on the community to help local students prepare for the upcoming school year by donating supplies for its annual Backpack Giveaway during the Back to School Waddle on July 23 at TPA Park.

The organization’s goal is to provide 600 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students across the community, helping ensure children have the tools they need for a successful start to the school year.

Community members can donate school supplies at the United Way office, located at 1234 Rossville Avenue. Donations of notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, folders, glue, backpacks, and other classroom essentials are welcomed.

Organizers say every contribution, large or small, will make a meaningful impact for local families preparing for back-to-school expenses.

The Backpack Giveaway has become an important annual effort to support students and promote educational success throughout Clinton County. By coming together as a community, residents can help ensure every child begins the school year equipped and ready to learn.

United Way for Clinton County encourages businesses, organizations, and individuals to participate and help make this year’s event a success.
