The United Way for Clinton County announced the opening of its grant cycle for not-for-profits in Clinton County, which will officially open this Monday, March 3.
The organization stated that all applications must be submitted to United Way not later than noon on Monday, March 31 for consideration, and applications received after March 31 will not be accepted. An agency being considered for support from the organization must meet all United Way eligibility requirements.
The not-for-profit organization must submit an application for a program that addresses one of the following goals of the organization’s mission statement:
- Financial stability – move people out of poverty, financial literacy, and transportation.
- Education – enrichment programs designed to ensure children and youth achieve their full potential.
- Health – affordable health care, mental health and counseling, alcohol and drug abuse treatment and prevention, dental care and general health and wellness.
The focus of 2025 for the organization will be in early learning, health concerns, homelessness and human traffic.
Each funding application must clearly identify and describe the specific program to address these community needs. Applications requesting funding of general operations will not be considered.
The 2024 funded agencies and the not-for-profits who have contacted the United Way to express interest in being a United Way Agency will automatically receive the application no later than Friday, Feb. 28 via email.
Applications are available by contacting United Way for Clinton County at 765-654-5573 or via email to astewart@uwclintoncounty.org. If applying for more than one program, a separate application for each program must be submitted. Applications are due by 12 p.m. on Monday, March 31.
