United Way Opens Grant Cycle Monday

United Way for Clinton County will be opening their grant cycle for Not-For-Profits in Clinton County starting Monday, March 7th.  All applications must be submitted to United Way no later than Tuesday, March 29, 2022.  Applications received after that date will not be accepted.

An agency being considered for United Way support must meet all United Way eligibility requirements, which can be found on our website.

The Not-For-Profit Organization must submit an application for a program that addresses one of the following goals of our mission statement:

  1. Financial stability – move people out of poverty, financial literacy, and transportation
  2. Education – enrichment programs designed to ensure children and youth achieve their full potential
  3. Health – affordable health care, mental health and counseling, alcohol and drug abuse treatment and prevention, dental care, and general health and wellness

Our focus for 2022 continues to be in the areas of homelessness, early childhood education and mental health.

Each funding application must clearly identify and describe the specific program to address these community needs.  Applications requesting funding of general operations will not be considered.

Our 2021 funded agencies and those Not-For-Profits who have been in touch to let us know they are interested in being a United Way Agency, will automatically be sent the application by email no later than Tuesday, March 7th.

Applications are available online at www.uwclintoncounty.org or can be requested by contacting United Way for Clinton County at 765-654-5573 or via email to [email protected]. If applying for more than one program, a separate application for each program must be submitted. Application(s) are due by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
