TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces an ongoing closure of the State Road 225 Truss Bridge over the Wabash River, located south of Battle Ground.
Erosion control and right-of-way clearing is now underway to begin rehabilitation of the historic single-lane bridge and to replace the bridge deck. Work is anticipated to last until 2028 but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution while traveling in the area.
