INDOT notified Central Dispatch that they intend to reopen US Highway 421/State Rd 39 over the South Fork of Wildcat Creek on Friday, December 9. They do not have an exact time but anticipate it to be during the morning.
There may be times when they are on-site completing some work. This work will be done with minimal disruption to traffic. They may utilize single-lane closures should the need arise. They will be returning in the spring to complete the bridge structure painting. At this time they do not anticipate a full road closure for the painting operation.
