USPS Suspends Mail Delivery for Wednesday Due to Cold

The United States Postal Service announced Tuesday it will not be delivering mail to areas in some parts of the country today (Wednesday) due to the extreme cold brought on by the polar vortex.

Service will be suspended today in parts of Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Iowa, western Pennsylvania, the Dakotas and Nebraska. Individuals in Clinton County, along with in Tippecanoe, Carroll County and Montgomery County, should not expect to receive mail today (Wednesday).

In addition to deliveries, pickups from businesses, residences and collection boxes are also suspended.
