Clinton County Republican Party Chairman Jim Moyer was received word from the Clinton County Clerk that a vacancy exits in an election life. Stephanie Cooper has resigned as Center Township Board Member.
A caucus will be held on Tuesday, May 30, at 5 p.m. in the council chambers in Old Stoney to fill the vacancy. Only Republican Precinct Chairman in Center Township, including Frankfort, will vote,
A person wishing to be a candidate for this position must file a declaration of candidacy with the Republican Chairman before 5 p.m. on May 30.
A Declaration of Candidacy (Form CEB-5) may be obtained from Republican Headquarters or they City-Clerk Treasurer’s office at Old Stoney at 301 E. Clinton St., Frankfort, or in the County Clerk’s office in the Courthouse.
