Vehicle Into Creek Due to Snowfall and Icy Conditions

At approximately 5:38 p.m. Thursday, Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 5000 block North on County Road 350 East due to a vehicle into a creek accident.
Ross Weber, 71, was leaving his residence and crossing over a wooden bridge on his property when his vehicle slid off the side of the bridge. Weber’s vehicle came to rest on its side in the creek. Water levels were low at the time of the incident. As a result, Weber became entrapped inside his vehicle until emergency personnel could arrive.
Weber sustained no serious injuries and returned to his residence after being assisted out of his vehicle and cleared by medics.
