Indiana State Police, Lafayette Post will begin clearing vehicles in lieu of the approaching weather system. Contrary to the usual practice of tagging abandoned vehicles for 24 or 72 hours all abandoned vehicles are being towed. These vehicles will be towed to reduce the risk to other drivers and to allow snow removal equipment to safely clear the roadways. Interstate 65 between 146 mile marker and the 201 mile marker, and Interstate 74 between the Illinois state line and the 52 mile marker.
