A Veterans Day Parade returns to Frankfort on November 11th.
15 years have passed since the last Veterans Day parade, according to Hoppy Bray at the Frankfort VFW Post 1110. On Tuesday November 11th anyone is welcome to join the Parade. Scout troops, Veterans, Citizens and Families wanting to honor our veterans are welcome to join the Parade.
The Veterans Day Parade will form in the garage area at Wesley Manor on the Northwest side of the Wesley Manor Campus. Participants are encouraged to gather there between 8:30 and 9:00 AM.
All Veterans are asked to ride on a wagon provided by VFW and American Legion. Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets, Frankfort Police and Frankfort Fire will be a part of the parade. The route will round the Wesley Manor Teardrop, proceed down Main Street and terminate at Veterans Park in time for the Veterans Day Program starting at 10:30 at Veterans Park.
