Victims in Three-Vehicle Crash Monday Morning Identified

Two individuals from Kokomo were killed late Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash on State Road 26 and County Road 30 West east of Sedalia.

When deputies arrived at the crash which happened at 11:30 a.m. Monday, they found a three-vehicle crash involving two semis and a small van. Information from the scene showed the small van was west bound of State Road 26 and the two semis were east bound. For reasons unknown, the small van lost control hitting the first semi on the driver’s side and then hitting the second semi head on.

The victims were identified as 47-year-old Stacy L. Langdon of Kokomo, who was driving the van, and 65-year-old Delbert Parham of Kokomo, who was a passenger in the van. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the first semi, 29-year-old Cory A. Hays of Dayton was taken to the hospital with a complaint of pain. The second driver, 45-year-old Robert A. McCoy of Lafayette had no injuries.

All information will be given to the prosecutor for review.
