On November 20, the Indiana State Police began an investigation based on several tips received about a social media video of a Lamborghini being driven recklessly on I-465. The video was uploaded November 18, 2020 and allegedly shows a black Lamborghini stop in the left lane of I-465 near the 9 mile marker, the vehicle then accelerated rapidly with a video showing the speedometer. The speedometer reaches a speed of 213 miles per hour before the driver decelerates. Follow-up investigation by Indiana State Police Crash Reconstructionists were able to estimate the vehicle’s speed at 198 mile per hour as it passed another vehicle.
Earlier this month investigators turned over their findings to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office who, upon review of the case, filed reckless driving charges against 33 year old Gabriel Sleiman.
The criminal charges listed above are merely accusations, all suspects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
