Vivian “Jane” Winslow Hall, 91, of Frankfort, passed away on June 25, 2026.
Born on February 12, 1935, in Newton County, Indiana, Jane was the daughter of Clarence H. Winslow and Aulta M. (Cripe) Winslow.
On June 26, 1954, she married the love of her life, Ellis Hall, and together they shared more than 56 years of marriage until his passing on October 3, 2010. Jane passed away just one day before what would have been their 72nd wedding anniversary—as though she simply couldn’t let the occasion pass again without being with him once more.
Jane was a 1953 graduate of Roachdale High School. She dedicated 32 years of service to P.R. Mallory before retiring in 2000. Throughout her life, faith remained important to her. She was formerly a member of First Baptist Church and later a faithful member of Jefferson United Methodist Church.
Above all else, Jane treasured her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. Her legacy lives on through the many generations of family she leaves behind.
Surviving are her three daughters, Pamela Jane McClaskey (Bryan) of Darlington and Candy Lee Taylor of Pittsboro; nine grandchildren, Heather, Amber, Jamie, Wendi, Malori, Britney, Meghan, Chelsea, and Heath; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ellis Hall; daughter, Tammie Suzanne Shields; and her sisters, Lois Fitzsimmons and Jeanette Jones.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm, at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Cemetery. Messages of condolence are welcome at www.dayandgenda.com.
