The Wabash and Erie Canal Park in Carroll County continues to offer canal-based events and activities tomorrow, Saturday, June 29 with activities continuing every Saturday through September.
Community members have been invited to partake in the festivities of the Wabash and Erie Canal Park for canal boat rides, which depart at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., explorations of the pioneer village, tours of the Reed Case House historic homes, exploration of hands-on historical lessons in the interactive Canal Museum, hiking of miles of trails to explore and outdoor areas to play and much more.
The park will be open tomorrow, June 29 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the community to explore the amenities provided by the museum with local shopping and exploration options available at The Cooper Shop, The General Store, The Loom House, The Paper-Maker’s Shop, The White Chapel and much more that are free to experience alongside the children’s playboat and the outdoor exhibits.
Canal boat rides depart at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. every Saturday through September with adult rides, over 13-years-old, costing $10 and children’s rides, 12-years-old and under, costing $5 to explore the canal.
Tours of the Reed Case House will be provided throughout the afternoons with adult tickets costing $5 and while children’s tickets costing $1. The museum may also be explored throughout the afternoons for the same price.
