Walter Boyd Martin, 67, Cutler, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette. He was born in Delphi on October 13, 1954, to Frederick Boyd and Ada Marjorie (Gochenour) Martin.
Boyd was a 1974 graduate of Delphi High School. He then enlisted in the United States Navy for 21 years, where he worked several jobs including Aircraft Mechanic. He then worked at Frito Lay. Boyd enjoyed flying kites, collecting and riding motorcycles, spending time with his friends, and spoiling his pets. He loved his daughter and grandson very much.
Boyd is survived by his daughter, Wendy Rafferty; grandson, Paxton Baugh; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Rogers.
A visitation will be held from 10-11am, Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Genda Funeral Home ~ Rossville Chapel. A graveside service be held at 11:30am at Masonic Cemetery in Delphi with military rites performed by the Carroll County Honor Guard. Online condolences may be left at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
