Walter Wiley Weaver, 71, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018, at his home.
He was born September 25, 1946, in Anderson, to Verl and Hazel Burton Weaver. Walter was formerly married to Rebecca Radcliff for 18 years; she survives.
Walter served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War before going to work at General Battery and Continental Steel in Kokomo. He retired from L & M Recreation as a pool builder in 2013. Walter was a past member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed watching wrestling and the Amazing Race, listening to old rock music, fishing, hanging on his porch, and loving on his five dogs.
Also surviving Walter are his children, Christopher Weaver (Karen McFadden), Brad Allen Weaver, and Brandy Weaver, all of Frankfort; brothers, Buddy Thorton, of Georgia, and Charles Weaver, of Frankfort; sisters, Elise Thorton, of Monticello, and Janet Thorton, of Virginia; 12 grandchildren, Zachary Weaver, Breanna Salinas, Lydia Weaver, Kendra Weaver, Ashley Weaver, Nevaeh Weaver, Alex Weaver, Lexii Weaver, Chase Henry, Matthew Weaver, and Jessica Boehme; nine great-grandchildren, and special buddy, Vince Powers.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Sam Weaver; and sister, Carol Wright.
