Frankfort Main Street announced today that the Washington Street Paving project closure, currently between Jackson Street and Monon Street, is expected to remain closed until Wednesday afternoon. Downtown businesses will remain open and accessible throughout the closure. Customer parking is available in two nearby locations:
Veterans’ Park Parking Lot
Clinton County Annex Parking Lot
Note: Work near the County Building may be delayed a day or two due to unfinished sidewalk and curb work on their end.
After Washington St is complete, crews plan to mill:
• W Clinton St (Columbia St to Taylor St)
• 6th St (W Walnut St to Edmund St)
Tuesday, September 30th, milling is scheduled for:
• Park St
• Barner St
• Kyger St
If you live on or travel through these streets, please plan ahead, use caution, and be patient while crews are at work. Your cooperation helps keep the project moving smoothly and safely.
Thank you for your patience as we continue improving our city streets!
