Leroy Good was honored at Old Stoney Saturday afternoon. Community leaders, family and friends celebrated Leroy’s 100th birthday in the main hall of the Historical Society Museum on the second level of Old Stoney.
Leroy Good was a World War II vet, serving in Italy in several of the most challenging and dangerous campaigns of the war. A detailed recount of the heroic actions of his battalion were recounted in the video of the birthday celebration you can watch HERE.
Leroy Good’s service as a church leader, father, friend, collector, historian and soldier were recognized and recorded for the history he helped shape in Clinton County and the world.
Joe Root presented Leroy with a letter from President Donald and First Lady Melania Trump to commemorate his service to America.
