West Oak Street In Zionsville Sees Construction Beginning Tomorrow, Sept. 6

The Town of Zionsville announced upcoming roadwork expected on West Oak Street beginning tomorrow with the largest presence of construction on Monday, Sept. 9.

Beginning tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 6, paving crews are expected to begin roadwork on West Oak Street from County Road 950 East to the Whitestown line at the Blackstone subdivision in Zionsville.

The town stated that drivers should expect traffic to be reduced to one lane in the area for a few days as flaggers help direct traffic to manage the flow.

The town stated that crews will begin patching areas tomorrow with milling beginning on Monday. The town stated that drivers will see the largest presence beginning Monday with flaggers and police personnel. The crews are not expected to be actively working over the weekend.

Drivers are encouraged to utilize caution when traveling through the area or find an alternate route around the lane closure.
