The Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department officially concluded the 2nd Citizen Academy this week where community members were invited to learn more about law enforcement and receive specialized training that would lead into a successful future.
Over the past six weeks, citizens of Whitestown were invited to learn about the facets of the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department and the field of law enforcement in general.
“The engagement by this class was amazing as they took every opportunity to participate in practical exercises, asked great questions and often stayed after class to discuss topics in more depth,” the department released. “We are extremely thankful to have had them as students and cannot wait to host our next Citizen Academy.”
