Wild Cat Solid Waste District is hosting a tire recycling drive for Clinton County residents August 18 and 19 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. They will go from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. both days or until they have the semi trailers full.
Residents need to enter by the gas station gate at the Fairgrounds, 1701 S. Jackson St. They must pay by cash or check. The first $20 value is free per vehicle.
Type of tires that will be available are car tire or smaller, light truck, racing slicks, truck/semi, off road and tractor. Tires that are filled with mud, leaves, water, gravel, fluid or other debris will not be accepted. No rubber tracks accepted.
