Wildcat Creek: Themed Art Exhibited at Frankfort Community Public Library

Local artists have created some wonderful work that celebrates the outdoor community treasure right here in our backyard, the Wildcat Creek. The public is invited to the Anna and Harlan Hubbard Gallery in the Frankfort Community Public Library to experience these beautiful works. These pieces are entries in the 2022 Wildcat Creek Art Contest. They are currently on public display and will remain up through July 30.

This art contest is being hosted by the Clinton County Soil & Water Conservation District with support from the Frankfort Community Public Library. Feel free to vote for your favorite piece by filling out a voting card and leaving it in the drop box in the gallery. The public is also encouraged to attend the Art Contest Reception and Award Ceremony at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, in the gallery at the Frankfort Library.

Please come by to experience the artwork, view a video about the Wildcat Creek, and grab some refreshments. Contest voting will end just prior to the start of the Awards Ceremony. RSVP’s are not required to attend. Please call 765-659-1223 ext. 3 or visit our website at clintonswcd.org for more information.
