Saturday morning at 10:30, Don Stock and Karl Kercheval begin the WILO pregame broadcast of the Frankfort Hot Dog’s Semi-State game against the Heritage Patriots.
The AAA Frankfort Hot Dogs take to the field at 11:00 AM with a 19-12 record. The Heritage Patriots are 19-7. According to Don Stock, Frankfort brings with them a fundamentally sound, well coached, patient team that fields the ball well and tends to consistently “pick apart” the opponent with solid fundamentals, good Senior leadership and consistent base hits.
If the Hot Dogs win Saturday morning, they will progress to the final Semi-State game at Oak Hill High School starting at 8 pm with pre-game starting about 7:30 PM. Winner of the Semi-State game Saturday evening will play for the State Championship next weekend at Victory Field in Indianapolis. WILO will cover that game, too, if Frankfort wins Saturday night at Oak Hill.
