C.C. At the North Montgomery wrestling regional Saturday, Alex Schultz at 120 lbs and Carl Albaugh at 182 lbs both picked up first round wins by pin and now advance to the semi-state at New Castle. Schultz finished 4th in the regional to qualify for semi-state next weekend. Albaugh is Clinton Central’s 50th individual regional champion and this is his 100th win. His father (1987) was a regional champion as was his coach Faulkner (1999).
Clinton Central Boys Basketball dropped a game Saturday at Western Boone, 70-49. They travel to Carroll next Wednesday to take on the Cougars.
