WILO’s “Stuff the Bus” School Supply Drive Continues This Week

Donation boxes remain available inside the Frankfort Walmart, where shoppers can continue donating new school supplies. Organizers encourage residents to contribute notebooks, pencils, crayons, backpacks, folders and other classroom essentials that will benefit students across Clinton County.

The annual drive supports Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, The Crossing, Frankfort Community Schools, and Rossville Schools, helping ensure students have the supplies they need to begin the school year ready to learn.

The WILO “Stuff the Bus Live Broadcast” event will be held Wednesday, July 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Frankfort Walmart, where Cindy Loveless and the WILO crew will collect donations of school supplies, cash and Walmart gift cards for local students. During the event, Loveless will host a live two-hour broadcast on WILO 96.9 FM, WILO Lebanon 102.7 FM, and WILO 1570 AM, providing updates throughout the evening. The broadcast is made possible through the support of Center Township of Clinton County and Wampler’s Disposal & Recycling.

Residents who were unable to attend the live event are encouraged to stop by Walmart this week and place their donations in the collection boxes. Cash donations and Walmart gift cards are also accepted to help purchase additional school supplies.

Organizers say every contribution, regardless of size, helps make a difference for local students and families. The continued support of the community ensures children throughout Clinton County have the tools they need for a successful school year.
