WILO’s “Stuff the Bus” School Supply Drive Happening Wednesday at Frankfort Walmart

Wednesday, July 29th is the day for WILO Radio’s annual “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive, and the community is invited to help local students get ready for the new school year.

The event takes place today, July 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Frankfort Walmart, where WILO’s Cindy Loveless and the WILO crew will be on hand collecting donations of school supplies, cash, and Walmart gift cards.

Cindy Loveless will also host a live two-hour broadcast from the event on WILO 96.9 FM, WILO Lebanon 102.7 FM, and WILO 1570 AM. The live broadcast is made possible through the support of Center Township of Clinton County and Wampler’s Disposal & Recycling.

Donations will benefit students attending Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, The Crossing, Frankfort Community Schools, and Rossville Schools. Community members may choose to support a specific school or have their donations shared among multiple districts.

Those unable to attend the event this evening can still participate. Donation boxes have been placed inside the Frankfort Walmart and will remain available after today’s event, allowing shoppers to contribute school supplies at their convenience.

Organizers encourage everyone to consider making a donation, noting that even small contributions can make a meaningful difference for local students and teachers. By working together, the community can help ensure children throughout Clinton County begin the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.
